[Soon to come] The release of Byfron

on April 20th of 2023 Roblox seems to have rolled out their new anti-cheat called Byfron to some of their users. Users who have Byfron now have a x64 bit version (meaning Roblox cannot run on x32 based processors) of the Roblox client and it supposedly no-longer supports Wine.

If you get flagged by this new anti-cheat in any shape or form you will not experience any crashes or warnings or kicks, you will simply be banned and from the info that I’ve gathered Byfron can HWID ban you.

In order to check for yourself if you have it simply enter your Roblox installation folder and check for a file called “robloxplayerbeta.dll”. If it is there you have a client version with Byfron installed. to make sure you don’t end up as one of the 8% of Roblox players that are unfortunate enough to get a Byfron version do this:

  1. Install a UserScript Manager (for most browsers: ViolentMonkey, https://violentmonkey.github.io/get-it/ > Click browser you have under Stable Release > Install)
  2. Open the following link inside your browser: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/956649076852654122/1089031453595148338/fix_channel_roblox.user.js
  3. Click Confirm installation > then click Close
  4. After it has installed you will need to Reinstall Roblox and reopen any Roblox browser tabs

What you need to worry about as a Roblox user/Exploiter:

Stick to your trusted executors ONLY for the next few months (ex: Synapse X, Script-Ware) and make sure you don’t use any other ones for the time being. The community has somehow gotten ahold of a leaked version of Byfron and is working on making bypasses for it however people WILL release these bypasses publicly on github or any other code hosting platform and they will be patched over-time.
